GRATITUDE

We just sent out another batch of gratitude letters to the healthcare heroes at our local hospital. This week we included the poem, "Instructions on Not Giving Up," by Ada Limón.  We continue to be amazed by the outpouring of love every night at 7pm's "clap because we care," where we applaud, ring cowbells, and shake tambourines on our terrace with our neighbors and New Yorkers citywide to salute and celebrate healthcare workers on the front lines of this global pandemic.

Here's to my awesome teacher, who biked from New Jersey this morning to pick up this order, customized to match her racing stripes!  On Day 84 of our potholder pledge, we head out to another march in NYC to rally for racial justice and social justice.
