To celebrate the 100th day of our potholder pledge, we are launching our brand new Sisters4Water Satchel! Using two large potholders, the main body measures 8” by 8” and holds six tennis balls. The strong strap measures 15” and stretches to 22”, depending on the bag’s contents. You choose the design and colors, we weave, sew, and deliver! $50. Every penny goes to H20 for Life to fund water projects for Matsimbe Secondary School!
We just sent out another batch of gratitude letters to the healthcare heroes at our local hospital. This week we included the poem, "Instructions on Not Giving Up," by Ada Limón. We continue to be amazed by the outpouring of love every night at 7pm's "clap because we care," where we applaud, ring cowbells, and shake tambourines on our terrace with our neighbors and New Yorkers citywide to salute and celebrate healthcare workers on the front lines of this global pandemic.
