We are blown away by the outpouring of support to fund the water and sanitation needs of the 1872 students and 18 teachers of Matsimbe Secondary School in Malawi.

Friends, family, neighbors, and new customers helped make our most ambitious goal of raising $6000 a reality. That’s a lot of potholders!

Thanks, especially, to Steve and Patty Hall and the entire H2O for Life team for making these funds go the distance. Their implementing partner, Freshwater Project International, will drill a fresh water borehole at the school and provide two blocks of latrines (with locking doors) and two blocks of urinals. One of the girls latrines will have a menstrual hygiene management station. All of the sanitation facilities will have hand washing stations adjacent, and more hand washing stations will be located close to the classrooms. Students will also receive hygiene and hand washing training and menstrual hygiene management training (for girls). Additionally, students receive a supply of water packets to use to purify water in their homes. The extra donations we received during this campaign will go to our next project, which we just chose. We will announce details tomorrow! With love and gratitude,

Ella & Mabel, Sisters4Water

The kind folks of Minnesota and H2O for Life have been our "Star of the North" for years, especially during Covid. We thank them for their steadfast support and guiding light.
